Cleveland label 904L World Class Sound revealed Sound On Tape’s new track, ‘Gods Don’t Die’, on June 7th, 2024. Sound On Tape finds inspiration from influential artists like El-B, Burial, Mr. Fingers, and Sticky, as well as from the rich tradition of Black gospel music, including figures like CL Franklin, Pastor T.L. Barrett, the Youth for Christ Choir, and Mahalia Jackson.

His debut EP, Hush Harbors, launched under 904L World Class Sound, showcases his unique blend of electronic styles, rooted in Garage, 2-Step, Jazz, and more. This was followed by the label’s second release, courtesy of Sullivan!, who delivered a refined, captivating minimal house EP.

Featuring a blend of reflective melodies, subtle rhythmic patterns, and soulful vocals by Kyle Kidd, ‘Gods Don’t Die’ offers a versatile track suitable for various moods. The track is a soulful house piece that is bound to get you up off your feet and lift your mood.
