Tinashe Releases Eighth Album Popstar

On September 25, Tinashe‘s eighth studio album, Popstar, was released as a bold 16-track statement. Rather than including guest appearances, she fully immerses herself in her usual genre-mixing and extends her music into remarkably experimental new areas. The clear control that is a hallmark of her career provides a solid foundation for an album which views pop not as a set format but as a canvas for reinvention.

Popstar pulses with club-ready experiments and futuristic R&B, sculpted by an eclectic lineup of producers such as Ricky Redd, Zach Sekoff, Fred Ball, and Andrew Wells. Singles like ‘Too Easy’, ‘Crash Out’, ‘Pillow Fight’, and ‘I’d Rather Be Alone’ set the stage for a campaign where Tinashe boldly reimagines what it means to be a popstar. Tinashe will share the stage with Harry Styles as a special guest for the Phoenix stops of the Together, Together Tour on April 2 and 3 at State Farm Stadium.
