AMAFELLA LAUNCH “GOOD TIME” WITH AFROPOP ENERGY AND GLOBAL FUSION FLAIR
Amafella, the new power trio blending Zimbabwean rhythm with UK club aesthetics, have officially debuted with their infectious single ‘Good Time’, released June 20 via Tankfloor/Warner Music Group. The group, formed by Kazz Khalif, Tanaka Siziba, and Bailey Browne, brings a wealth of experience and chemistry to the track, fusing elements of Afropop, Amapiano, and contemporary urban production. Individually, the members have carved their own spaces: Kazz Khalif rose to prominence through viral hits like Madhau and collaborations with BBC 1Xtra support; Tanaka Siziba has delivered genre-spanning singles like Dhonza and Go Babi; and Bailey Browne is recognized for his soulful features and solo work on tracks like Dawgz Dem and Come Again.
On ‘Good Time’, Amafella channel their collective strengths into a vibrant, dance-ready anthem. Anchored by a bouncy Afrobeat groove and smooth vocal interplay, the song radiates warmth and optimism, designed to light up both festival stages and laid-back house parties. It’s a track that celebrates joy without pretense, rooted in connection and crafted for movement.
Speaking on the release, the trio shared: “‘Good Time’ is about living in the now—feeling the music, the people, the energy. It’s about togetherness, no matter where you are.”
With their sights set on the Italian market and a growing international fanbase, Amafella are stepping into the spotlight with confidence. ‘Good Time’ is more than a debut—it’s a mission statement. One that puts cross-cultural celebration at the center of their sound.
