Tyla Performs ‘KISS’ Live for the First Time in Vevo Official Live Session

South African artist Tyla, a two-time GRAMMY winner, has unveiled a VEVO Official Live Performance of ‘KISS’, drawn from her sophomore album A*POP. Released on September 10, 2026, the session extends the momentum of the 14-track project, following two previous Vevo performances and building anticipation for the A*POP World Tour, set to launch in Paris on October 12. Throughout this campaign, Tyla has positioned live sessions as a core element of her album rollout, foregrounding both vocal presence and choreography within a unified visual frame.

This time, Tyla steps back into the set that is very reminiscent of a South African “Yard party”, complete with the plastic garden chairs. Rugs sprawl across the floor, her band joins her onstage, and the lighting is dim but neutral for the versus but switches up and pulses between neon, pink, and purple hues during the key moments of the performance. Gone are the cozy tones of earlier Vevo tapes. Yet, the focus remains: Tyla’s magnetic vocals, her expressive choreography, and her commanding presence. The live band adds a dynamic new layer to the track, which is a much appreciated tease as to what we can expect on the tour.

‘KISS’ is the third chapter in Tyla’s Vevo series, following ‘Is It Love’ and ‘She Did It Again’, each session keeping the spirit of A*POP alive as the tour approaches. Instead of reinventing the music video, this performance dives into how the song comes alive on stage, with the band in full view and the lighting sculpting the mood.
