Speaking backstage at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas with The Breakfast Club, Cardi B revealed that work on the new project is underway and assured fans that the extended gap between albums will not be repeated.

With two tracks already recorded, Cardi B intends to step away from the public eye following her November birthday to complete the album in seclusion. This approach extends the process she initially outlined to Vogue Arabia, emphasizing her renewed focus and determination to finalize the record on her own schedule.
