This past Friday, Jairic put out ‘Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You’, his latest single on Rich Air Music, dropping August 29, 2025. From Detroit roots and now living in Cannes, France, he came up in a family full of music. He began by producing hip-hop for artists back home, before claiming his spot with a tough, self-made approach. Influences include Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, the local underground, funk hits, 60s rock, and movie scores, blending deep lyrics with creative beats. His reach spans France, Italy, Prague, and the U.S., with close to 2 million streams from tracks he writes, produces, and performs solo. Standout shows lately? Private gigs at Château Les Alouettes in Cannes, Villa Balbiano on Lake Como, and a live appearance at the Azur short film premiere in Paris. He connects music, visuals, and style like few others.
Jairic goes all out on this defiant single, showing off clever, fast lyrics and strong audio layers full of intensity. The opener grabs you with a building vibe, leading into chaotic parts that echo his underground style and break down barriers. A calmer bridge adds soft female vocals for contrast, then it ramps up again into straight hip-hop power.
Jairic shared: “This one was written in the south of France. Underneath the whole thing there’s this Caribbean pulse as well, smooth, hypnotic, at times chaotic, but the lyrics carry a different weight: don’t run up on me. It’s got that contrast I love, sunlit on the surface, with a sharp edge underneath.“
