Leaping Tiger is gearing up to drop his brand new single ‘Aquasavana’ on 25 October. The Afrobeat inspired track oozes fun, playfulness and Summer-time vibes with its laid back, charismatic energy. 

Leaping Tiger is the project of electronic music producer and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Park, who was born in New Zealand, but is currently based in London. With Zambian roots, Leaping Tiger was inspired by the lively Afrobeat and African electronic music scenes in London which set in motion the birth of ‘Aquasavana’. 

He has released three albums so far under the Leaping Tiger moniker, namely Porcelain Orca Whales, Soulsleep and Godspeed. ‘Aquasavanna’ features a punchy beat, light-hearted auto-tuned vocals from Leaping Tiger, and an infectious Afrobeat bounce. The single captures the essence of care-free Summer days, where the possibilities are endless and you’re embracing each moment with full presence. Leaping Tiger shares; “Aquasavana is about making the perfect summer memory and basking in it. It’s the sound of when summer ends and you look back in a really romantic way at all the good times you’ve had.”
