Want to get familiar with the artists performing at AFROTRAX? We’ve curated a Spotify playlist featuring music from across the lineup, giving you the perfect opportunity to discover new tracks, revisit your favourites and get ready for the December festivities.

With AFROTRAX approaching on 4 December, we’re turning our attention to the music of Blxckie. The Durban-born rapper and singer continues to push the boundaries of South African hip-hop, moving between melodic rap, trap and R&B. His 2026 releases, including 4LUV2 and the collaborative mixtape AURA ERA with K1llbrady, showcase the range of his sound, from introspective melodies to harder-hitting rap.

For this edition of AFROTRAX RELEASE RADAR, we’re highlighting three tracks from Blxckie’s recent catalogue: ‘alupheli’ featuring Young Stunna, ‘2geda’ featuring Deitynow, and ‘Trappin’ with K1llbrady.

Released in February 2026, ‘alupheli’ brings Blxckie’s melodic delivery together with Young Stunna’s amapiano-influenced sound. The track features on 4LUV2, a project exploring the softer, more emotionally driven side of Blxckie’s artistry. Meanwhile, ‘2geda’, featuring Deitynow, opens 4LUV2 with a compact introduction to the project’s romantic direction. On ‘Trappin’, Blxckie teams up with K1llbrady for AURA ERA, a 15-track mixtape released in March 2026 that leans into contemporary trap production and the chemistry between the two artists.

Together, these tracks offer a starting point for listeners looking to explore Blxckie’s evolving sound ahead of his AFROTRAX performance.

Listen to Blxckie’s latest music, explore the sound of other artists on the bill, and start building your AFROTRAX soundtrack.

Catch Blxckie at AFROTRAX on Friday, 4 December 2026, at The Ostrich Farm, Cape Town, alongside French Montana, B.o.B, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, YoungstaCPT, 25K, Jairic, Rarri, Kane (DJ) and Bassik.
