DIEGO MARCIANO DROPS ENIGMATIC SINGLE ‘BIG LIKE GODZILLA’
Amsterdam-based artist Diego Marciano unveiled his latest single ‘Big Like Godzilla’ on August 30th 2024. The single is an upbeat, high-spirited afrobeat and amapiano adventure featuring Diego’s invigorating vocals and songwriting.

Diego has been involved in the music industry for quite some time, with his earlier ventures seeing him perform as a rapper. He has performed across The Netherlands from Amsterdam to Rotterdam and Groningen. In 2015 he shifted directions from solely focussing on rap to explore other genres which saw his career elevate to new heights. Although Diego was born and raised in Amsterdam, he draws inspiration from his Surinamese roots.
‘Big Like Godzilla’ is a testament to Diego’s growth and versatility as an artist. It also showcases his ability to take risks with his artistry and not box himself in. Diego divulges, “‘Big Like Godzilla’ was created in a rather unique setting: the cinema. While watching the movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, I was struck by the intense atmosphere and epic scenes. The combination of visuals and sound ignited my creativity and before I knew it, I had the idea for this song.”
