AZ Chike and Tyler, the Creator Share ‘Look Like My Mama’ Ahead of No Rest For The Wicked

AZ Chike and Tyler, the Creator’s latest video for ‘Look Like My Mama’ transports viewers to “NRFTW High School,” where the hallways echo the quirky charm of Napoleon Dynamite. Lockers, plastered with flyers that shout No Rest For The Wicked and 09.18.26, set the scene. Under the direction of Stacking Memories, the duo reimagines iconic moments from Napoleon Dynamite, Sinners, and Men in Black, all before the camera pans to a young kid, mesmerized as he watches the spectacle unfold on his bedroom TV. The single dropped on August 28, 2026, with the flyer’s date marking the release of AZ Chike’s Warner Records album.

AZ Chike, born Damaria Kayshawn Walker, rose from the streets of South Central Los Angeles, first making waves in 2013. His breakout moment came in 2017 with the SoundCloud hit ‘Burn Rubber Again’, followed by the 2019 release of Rich & Ratchet. Collaborations with ScHoolboy Q on ‘Movie’ from Blue Lips and Kendrick Lamar on ‘Peekaboo’ from GNX propelled him further, with his verse even making its way into Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX performance.
