Tayá’s music career began when she started singing in a choir called ‘Positive Impact’ –  and she has been blossoming ever since. She has been hitting the studio since age 12 and was only 15 when she was signed to Atlantic records.

At 18, the up and coming RnB songstress has a lot of achievements under her belt, including collaborations with the likes of Diztortion  and Snakehips. Her tracks have been played on BBC Radio and 1Xtra and she performed alongside Nile Rodgers, Jennifer Lopez and Lionel Richie at the British Summer Festival in 2015. She was the winner of The GIT Award for the ‘One to Watch’ prize.

The self-titled EP dropped 1 September and is currently available on itunes. She shared a preview of the single ‘When ur sober’ on her Soundcloud page.  The track features feat. Yxng Bane. When asked about the track, she said; “When Ur Sober’ is probably the most personal song I’ve ever released. I think pretty much everyone can relate to going through a rocky patch in a relationship, and finding themselves needing reassurance, but not getting it. Sometimes it’s just good to hear that you’re not the only one…”
