AFROPUNK announces Johannesburg line up, including Kaytranada, Public Enemy, The Internet, and more.
Afropunk will return to Johannesburg, South Africa for it’s second rendition of it’s popular worldwide festival. 2017 saw the first Afropunk head to Joburg for one of the most successful festivals yet on Constitution Hill and they’ve decided to bring even bigger names for 2018.
Acts like Kaytranada, The Internet, Public Enemy, Thundercat, Flying Lotus and 10 more artists will be gracing the stage on Constitution Hill on 30 and 31 December. Is there a better way to dance into the new year? We think not!
The Afropunk Festival (commonly referred to as Afropunk or Afropunk Fest ) is an annual arts festival that celebrates and unifies the cultural cornerstones of Afropunk through music, film, skate, and art. The annual festival made its first debut at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in Brooklyn, New York City in 2005, and has since culturally expanded the festival across countries.
