Moon Rocket’s ‘Just Us Alone’ Is Out on Moon Rocket Music

Moon Rocket, the project of Italian producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Raffaele Scoccia, released ‘Just Us Alone’ on 12 December 2024 via Moon Rocket Music. Scoccia, who began playing piano at 15 before studying classical music, harmony and composition, has developed a signature Afro Melodic-Tech sound that foregrounds melody and musicianship within a club framework. His catalogue spans respected labels including Defected, Nervous, Sony Italy, BBE, Hed Kandi and Soulfuric. The single ‘Reciprocity’ surpassed 21 million streams and 250,000 Shazams, earning the title of Traxsource’s Best Afro House Track of 2020. Support has come from Black Coffee, Seth Troxler, and coverage in Billboard, Traxsource, CLASH Magazine and Cultr. BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra airplay includes Pete Tong’s Essential Selection, Monki, Rickie, Melvin & Charlie, and Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 Music.
